How it works

Three steps between you and a kid elbow-deep in a project.

01

Choose a kit

Set your dates, then browse by age or interest. Reserve one kit or several — as long as they share the same two weeks.

02

Play for two weeks

Pick up at PlayPalz or choose local delivery. Everything's inside, with an educator-written guide to get started.

03

Return or renew

Bring it back after two weeks — or keep it another two weeks if no one else is waiting. We clean and inspect every kit before it goes out again.

Browse by curiosity

Start with what they already love.

Kits are grouped by the kind of play a child gravitates toward, so you can follow their spark instead of a grade level.

This season's shelf

A kit is a whole experience, not a bag of parts.

Why rent

Try more. Spend less. Keep your closets.

Try more, buy less

Two weeks with a kit shows you what actually holds a child's attention — before you spend on the full thing.

$

A fraction of retail

Most kits rent for $20–$30 for two weeks — a small share of what the same materials cost to buy outright.

No clutter left behind

Kits come complete and go back complete. Nothing outgrown piling up in a bin by spring.

Find their spark

Rotate through building, coding, stories, and art to discover the thing that makes your child light up.

Built by educators

Two teachers who got tired of watching good materials sit in a closet.

Madison brings six years in the classroom across math, digital fabrication, and entrepreneurship. Emily spent ten years in K–12 built around robotics, storytelling, and hands-on learning. They curate every kit, write the guide that comes with it, and pack it so any parent can run it at the kitchen table — no teaching background required.

Trust & the small print

The stuff parents actually ask.

Cleaned & inspected between rentals

Every kit is cleaned, sanitized, and checked for all its pieces before it goes home with the next family.

Exactly what's listed

Each kit page lists the precise contents and any consumables, so you know what's coming and what goes back.

Grace for the little pieces

A lost small part happens. We only ask about major missing or damaged items, at fair replacement cost.

How long is a rental?
Two weeks from the day you pick up or receive your kit. If no one else is waiting on it, you can renew for another two weeks.
Can I rent more than one kit at a time?
Yes — reserve as many as you like, as long as they all share the same rental window so pickup and return stay simple.
What ages are the kits for?
Most kits are designed for ages 3–10, with a few that stretch younger or older. Every kit page lists its own verified age range.
What if a piece gets lost or broken?
Small pieces go missing — that's fine. For a major missing or damaged component we'll follow up about a fair replacement cost, spelled out in the rental agreement.
Do I need a teaching background?
Not at all. Every kit includes an educator-written guide with setup, a starting question, and ideas to keep going — designed for the kitchen table.
How much does it cost?
Most kits rent for $20–$30 for two weeks. Pickup at PlayPalz is free; local delivery across Chattanooga is a flat $10.

What will they discover next?

Pick your dates, choose a kit, and give your child something new to figure out — with pickup or delivery right here in Chattanooga.
